I assume GeForce Now is caching only certain files for each game, and Mods aren't included. However, if you launch Starbound directly from GeForce Now you will get a rig with enough memory, but since the game launches immediately after the first 'install' it doesn't wait for the workshop mods to be downloaded and installed. Near as I can tell, if you try to launch Starbound with mods using the generic Steam application it crashes because the rig you get allocated doesn't have enough memory for everything. However it does mean an additional 5 to 10 minutes of busy work each time I want to play. I've been using the above steps successfully for a number of weeks to load half a dozen or so mods, including some of the big ones like Frackin Universe. Enjoy modded Starbound, for the current session at least.Verify Mods show as loaded in Starbound.Wait till both the main Starbound game and any Workshop mods finish downloading before clicking 'Play Game' to launch Starbound.You should end up in Steam again, but the game won't launch immediately as it will need to 're-download' the game again since you just uninstalled it.Launch Starbound directly from GeForce Now.Make sure you are subscribed to the Mods you want in the Steam Workshop.From the Steam Library uninstall Starbound.Launch the generic Steam application via GeForce Now.These steps assume you already have Starbound 'installed' and it launches immediately if you launch the game directly from the GeForce Now launcher: I had a similar issue with Starbound and getting mods working, though I eventually found a work around.
